Legislative Update

Join us on June 23rd at 11am for a webinar with Tyler Munzing, Director of Government Affairs with ACEC.

Mr. Munzing will provide an update on the current state of California's legislature amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and how this has affected AB626 and DIR's "Skilled and Trained Workforce" requirements.

This will be a short 30-minute presentation followed by time for questions and answers.

About the Speaker:

As ACEC California’s Director of Government Affairs, Tyler is responsible for managing ACEC California's state legislative activities, tying together the organization’s policy agenda and political objectives with the promotion of the engineering and land surveying profession. Prior to joining ACEC California, Tyler served in the State Capitol representing multiple state legislators, most recently as Legislative Director for a Senator where he spent seven years working prominently on energy, transportation, resources, and design professional issues.  He serves as staff liaison to the Legislative, Grassroots, Water Resources, and BMI committees, as well as the Architects and Engineers Conference Committee.
